It’s been a while since out last post at the wedding. Well… there’s a baby on board!
Please Account for Friday Traffic
Friday traffic in Austin is borderline ridiculous and builds without logical reason. As a result, PLEASE allow more time to travel from your hotel to Barr Mansion. 45 minutes would be ideal considering the Austin bottlenecks we will all pass through.
2 more days!
As an assignment for class, I had to tell a story using only graphics. This is the story of my proposal to Jessica as told by black and blue stick figures!
Where are you staying?
Can you drop us a line and let us know where you’re staying while you’re here in Austin for our wedding? See you soon!
Don’t forget to RSVP
With only 2 days left until the RSVP deadline, please be sure to let us know if we will see you on October 1st. Perhaps it slipped your mind. Maybe it’s still on the fridge. Maybe it’s already in the mail. Otherwise, drop us an email if necessary. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
Rehearsal Dinner Info
We would like to extend a big thank you to our out-of-town guests (basically everyone). If you have an invitation to our wedding, then you’re invited to the rehearsal dinner! Dinner starts around 6:30pm on Thursday, September 30th. Click the link for more details and let us know you’re coming.
Invitations are in the mail… finally!
…and we think they’re so cool! It’s been a labor of love to get these designed exactly how we wanted them and printed quickly. A special thanks goes to Thomas at Letterpress Delicacies for flipping the project so quickly. His help throughout the process was invaluable. We even added our own touches with rubber stamps and a whole lotta cutting on the kitchen counter. Hopefully the invitations find a home on your fridge and the RSVP finds its way to the mailbox soon too. 41 days to go!
Our engagement party in New Jersey was utterly fantastic. We’d like to extend tremendous thanks to the Plofker families for planning such a special event for us. Jessica also grabbed a quiet moment with the wonderful Evelyn McCleod, America’s Mrs. 2010. I guess the sign of a great party is when no one wants to leave!
